PRICES AT SONNE TATTOO
Minimum price: 800 DKK.
- This covers small, simple tattoos that can be done quickly, such as small symbols or a little text.
Hourly rate: 1200 DKK.
- This price applies to tattoos that can be completed in 1 - 5.5 hours or need to be divided into smaller sessions.
Full-day session, 6 hours: 6000 DKK.
- For larger projects, it often makes sense to book a full day. This allows for completing a significant portion of the tattoo in one session and saves money compared to the hourly rate.
Save 30% on Flash Designs!
- Flash designs are ready-made designs that can be customized in size and color. You get a 30% discount because the design work is already done, and the price is based on the tattooing time minus the discount. Each design is unique and will only be done once.
See all available flash designs here.
-
I charge a booking fee of 500 DKK, which is deducted from the final price.
-
Design and drawing time are included in the prices.
-
For hourly rates, the short breaks I need are deducted from the final price of the finished tattoo.
-
In addition to the time I spend tattooing you, expect extra time for setup, stencil creation and application, as well as wrapping your finished tattoo, usually 20 minutes to 1 hour.
*The above prices are only valid for Christian Sonne and not for the rest of Selfmade*

FLASH DESIGNS AT SONNE TATTOO
Exclusive flash tattoos with a 30% discount
Flash designs are pre-drawn tattoos that I love to create. These designs can be customized in both size and color, including full color or grayscale. At Sonne Tattoo, I offer a 30% discount on flash designs since the drawing process is already done.
Each design is only done once, so when you pick a design, it becomes yours alone and is no longer available to anyone else. Book an appointment with me, your tattoo artist in Copenhagen, and choose your unique flash design before it’s gone!

Award-winning tattoo artist with 10 years of experience
I love creating custom-designed tattoos in Copenhagen that tell your unique story. My goal is to give you a special experience every time you visit my tattoo studio.
Over the years, I have had the honor of receiving several awards for my work, including 1st place in “Best Neo Traditional”, 1st place in “Best of Oriental”, and 1st place in “Best Color”. These recognitions are a testament to my dedication to both the craft and the art, and they inspire me to continue creating beautiful and meaningful tattoos for my clients.
With my experience and attention to detail, color transitions, lines, and contrasts, I ensure that your tattoos look amazing both up close and from a distance.
Art has always been my world
I have always loved drawing and creating art. It has been a big part of my life since I was a child. I have drawn and painted, done graffiti and murals, and held several art exhibitions over the years. My fascination with the tattoo world began early on when I was deeply engaged in music, especially punk and metal. The tattoos on my idols inspired me to become part of this amazing art form.

The path to becoming a Tattoo Artist
I chose to pursue an education in the graphic field and became a graphic technician specializing in serigraphy. During this time, I often traveled to London to get tattooed by Kamil Mocet, who greatly inspired me. A few years later, after establishing my own printing business, Colorfight, and maturing a bit more, I finally took the leap and decided to chase my dream of becoming a tattoo artist. In 2014, I started as an apprentice with Martin Monnerup and Ralf Monnerup in Frederiksberg. It was here that I truly found my passion and became a certified tattoo artist in 2018. The apprenticeship taught me the craft and gave me the necessary confidence to create my own unique designs.

Inspiration and collaboration
I draw inspiration from many sources – clients' stories, other tattoo artists, artists, architecture, album covers, t-shirt designs, and my colleagues at Selfmade. At Selfmade, we are great at helping each other and exchanging ideas, which often leads to even better designs. For example, we can discuss color combinations and come up with new ideas together. I also follow artists and tattooists on social media to see new techniques and trends that I can integrate into my own work. This constant flow of inspiration keeps me motivated and helps me develop my style.
Future visions
I have many dreams for the future, both personally and professionally. I dream of more projects where I can express my creativity without too many limitations. I want to participate in more tattoo conventions around the world and look forward to meeting other artists and being inspired by their work while showcasing my own skills. I dream of longer guest spots where I can be culturally inspired, and of engaging in artistic side projects. I wish to continue developing as a tattoo artist and exploring new horizons within the art of tattooing.
