Copenhagen's coziest tattoo studio" isn't an official title we've won; it's a title we've embraced with pride after repeated testimonials from our customers. Martin Monne and Ralf Monnerup, two cousins with a shared passion for the art of tattooing, joined forces and established Selfmade in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, in 2016. Their vision was to create a tattoo studio filled with talented artists, each contributing to the unique art form of tattooing. At the same time, they wanted to shape a team that shared a professional passion and a strong, friendly collegial community where work would be fun.

We've created an open studio that welcomes everyone, where creative expression runs free. We love our work every day, knowing that our customers appreciate coming back to the studio time and time again. Together, we've created an environment that invites everything from play and deep conversations to support through life's ups and downs. Our customers often tell us on our social media that we stand out from other tattoo studios. We offer a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat about projects or just gossip.
